  4. Follow the instructions in the manual for installing Country Vid Grid. If, 
  5. during the install, Country Vid Grid detects that your video resolution is
  6. not set to 640x480 with 256 colors follow the instructions below for 
  7. Changing Video Display Resolution. You may change your video display 
  8. resolution either before or after you install Country Vid Grid. Also, please
  9. read this notice before calling technical support. Country Vid Grid has been
  10. thoroughly tested before release and will play best with the video display
  11. set to 640x480 with 256 colors. We strongly urge you to switch to this
  12. display resolution.

  15. CHANGING VIDEO DISPLAY RESOLUTION
  16.  
  17. The following is the standard method for changing Windows video display
  18. drivers that use "Windows Setup" for their installation. Your video board's
  19. driver installation may differ. Check the manufacturer's documentation
  20. for your video board.
  21.  
  22. 1.    You may need your Windows Installation disks or the Drivers disk
  23.         for your video board.
  24. 2.    Find the "Windows Setup" icon in the "Main" program group
  25.         and double-click on that icon.
  26. 3.    From the "Options" menu, select "Change System Settings".
  27. 4.    Scroll down the display menu and select the 640x480x256 driver.
  28.         Click "Install" and if prompted, insert the requested floppy
  29.         disk. 
  30. 5.    If 640x480x256 is not listed, select the "Other Display" entry and
  31.         follow the on-screen prompts. After the driver installs, 
  32.         restart Windows.
  33. 6.    When Windows restarts you will be able to play Country Vid Grid.

  36. IF YOU ENCOUNTER PROBLEMS WHILE PLAYING COUNTRY VID GRID
  37.  
  38. We have found that the most common cause of problems in Country Vid Grid is 
  39. out of date video display drivers. You should always try to have the most
  40. recent version of your display driver installed on your system when playing
  41. video on your computer. If you have a modem, drivers are available on 
  42. CompuServe, GEnie, Microsoft OnLine and the Microsoft Download Service
  43. (MSDL). MSDL has no connect time charge and can be reached at 206-936-6735.
